| It was a sunny morning as we left our spot north of Kassel just after 09.00. Google reported no major obstacles enroute to Flensburg. However, a bit south of Hildesheim, Google suggested an alternative route, which would save 1 minute. Overruled this, not knowing that apparently at the same time, an accident accured on A7, leaving us standing in "stau" for more than two hours. Needless to mention, this resulted in a major loss of sense of humor on behalf of the writer. Instead of covering the 457 km in a bit more than 5 hours, we arrived in Medelby at 17.20 or 8 hours and 20 minutes later. |
